THE EAST, FIRE. Friday 23rd- Sunday 25h March 2012
The Seed Sprouts. The rising sun. Birth and Rebirth. Potential. Seeding our life with passion, the
spirit of expansion and adventure. Aggression and will as a source of strength. The desire to be
born, to live and to burn bright. Playfulness, the magical child and the hero’s quest. The spirit of the
Warrior, he/ she that protects and serves.
On this workshop we will explore all of the above and more. We will learn to make fire using natural
means- the essence of life and magic, using tools to create an element from thin air. We will also
undertake a sacred Kiva dance, embracing the fire deep into our souls, moving beyond the masks of self
deception and false posturing to discover, express and release our true spirits.
THE SOUTH, EARTH. Friday 20th- Sunday 22nd April 2012.
The Seed Takes Form. Containment, manifestation. Our instincts. Definition. That which Matters.
Acceptance of limits and defining oneself through limitation. The wisdom and healing gifts of the
earth. Nature’s medicine. Nature spirits. Sensuality, the enjoyment of our bodies. The wild, untamed
essence of our earthly and animal natures. In service to and in guardian of the natural world.
Here, we will explore all of the above. We will undertake a sacred burial ceremony, spending a night
deep in the darkness and womb of the earth, seeking visions and facing our death: the ultimate definition
of life. Merging with our animal spirit helpers we will learn what they have to teach about our instincts and wild, free natures.
THE WEST, WATER. Friday 22nd- Sunday 24th June 2012.
The Seed Blossoms and Bears Fruit. The river of life. Nurturing and guiding us on our journeys. Love and grief as praise of life. Our ability to truly taste life through our emotions. The ebb and flow, changing tides. Letting go, letting flow. Receptivity. Interconnectedness of everything. Love. Dreams and visions, psychic awareness. The blood. Family. Ancestral ties and ancestral wounding. Our commitment and responsibility to ‘all of our relations’.
Learning from the above and more, we will dive deeply and drink of the sacred wellspring of life. We will join together, in community in a Sacred Sauna

THE FOUR SEEDS SHAMANIC INITIATION
The Four Seeds is an adventure of Shamanic Initiation and Ceremony. We will venture through the elements- Fire, Earth, Water and Air- the building blocks of the universe and of ourselves. By exploring and balancing these elements within ourselves, we will then discover the balance and harmony possible with all of creation, the essence of healing.
We will challenge ourselves through ancient ceremonial rites; embracing the fire in a Sacred Dance; spending a night deep in our Mother Earth with a Burial; joining in community and prayer in a Sacred Sauna and experiencing a night alone in nature on a Vision Quest. Each of these initiations will take us closer to the mysterious world of the shaman whilst uncovering the hidden layers of our souls. On this shamanic journey of death and rebirth, we will emerge refreshed, re-invigorated and in touch with the raw intensity and power of life.
All the while, by honouring and deepening our relationship with the spirits- our teachers, healers and ancestors, and to the mysterious force that runs through all life- we will seek to understand our place in this sacred world. Through this understanding we will then look to express our gratitude through service to our communities and to spirit- the ultimate role of the shaman.
Embracing humour and honesty, lightness and intensity, inner journeying with outer action and living close to and in harmony with nature, we will create a circle of trust and beauty; one that will support this magical journey deep into the world of the shaman.
Due to the nature of the work, this course is suitable to those fully commited to their spiritual path.
to gift back to the earth our sweat and tears, so that they may seed further life. We will listen and align our own heartbeats with the heartbeat of the earth, giving and receiving love as we learn to walk in beauty.
THE NORTH, AIR. FRIDAY 24th- Sunday 26th August 2012.
The Seed Releases, Flying Free, Before Re-Seeding the Earth. The circle ends before beginning again. The breath of life. The wind. That which connects us to the invisible realms of spirit. Eldership. Wisdom and gratitude. Wise counsel. Responsibility. Freedom. Leadership. Mastery. Truth. Change. Transformation. The Magician who can alter reality and destiny. The place of our ancestors. Vision. Knowing and honouring our sacred place on the earth and the duty we have to perform here.
Finally, we will explore the above. We will undertake a vision quest, spending a night alone in nature, seeking a vision that we can live by- to give our life purpose and direction. We will look to understand our place as masters of our soul, able to steer the nature and pathways of our lives through conscious decision making. Gaining perspective on our journeys so far and committing to our new paths, having been touched and changed forever by spirit, we will end with celebration, feeding the desire to give back to the our mother, the earth, all that we have been given through the sacred, delicate gift of our lives.
