ONLINE TAROT COURSE
Divination has been practiced across all cultures for millennia and is one of the oldest practices alive that humans have of interpreting and understanding the reality we find ourselves in, in particular that which is hidden from everyday awareness. We are lucky, in the West, that we have been gifted an extraordinarily rich divination tool which has been used and evolved for centuries, that of the Tarot.
The Tarot has been used to delve deep into a person’s past, get to the heart of what is occurring in the present, including what is blocking the person from living a fulfilling life and map out potential futures. Used in this way, it can be an incredible tool in assisting a person navigate through some of the challenging experiences that can occur in life, and bringing healing and empowerment to that person by guiding them to a more complete version of themselves through active choice making, in harmony with the rest of creation.
It can also be used as a spiritual roadmap through life, especially the Major Arcana which follows the Fool on their journey of initiation, until reaching completion and wholeness. It is one of the only tracts we have in Western magical/ mystery traditions that marks out these initiatory rites in such detail, which can be applied to many modern spiritual journeys. In this way, it teaches us about life and the many ways we can learn and grow, personally and spiritually, both through harmony and challenge.
In this unique interactive and experiential course we will use many tools to ‘get to know’ the Tarot, beyond the mere intellectual. This will include shamanic dreaming techniques to explore the ‘spirit’ of the cards- how their energy can be experienced and come alive in life. This will also work to assist participants to heighten their intuitive and psychic abilities, that can then be applied practically.
All aspects of the cards, and in particular their interactions with each other will be looked at in great detail, before learning about tarot in action and the magic of readings. The Tarot will be explored from a traditional, magical perspective, drawing heavily on existing eastern European folk traditions alongside modern psychological interpretations as well as using the shamanic tools of the Medicine Wheel and connection to spiritual allies to offer a complete training. Most importantly, the course will be focused on how the tarot works in the real world and can be used to assist others.
This courses is open to complete beginners or those with experience wishing to broaden their understanding of this remarkable tool.
PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE:
This is designed as a professional course, and after completing twenty weeks of each three hour teaching module, participants will have all the tools necessary, spirit willing, to be able to undertake readings of a good standard.
Many former graduates of this course have gone on to work as professional tarot readers.
COURSE RECORDINGS:
Each online session will be recorded and made available for students to watch at their leisure, although we recommend that to get the most out of the course, as many sessions are attended in person as possible.
YOUR TEACHER: ANJA DZIEDZIC
Anja is a shamanic healer, facilitator and tarot reader.
Since completing her shamanic practitioner training with Second Sight in 2016, she has worked as a full time shamanic healer in both 1-1 healings and group ceremonies and as a tarot reader.
In addition to her training with Second Sight, her work is informed by her close work with the Wixarika (Huichol) tribe and Marakames from Northern Mexico, (with whom she has worked closely for nearly 8 years in ceremony, pilgrimage and with their community) and her extensive experience with plant medicines/teachers, as well as her own lineage of Polish medicine women, female medium healers, and native European ancestry.
Passionate about being of service and helping people, Anja’s style emphasises compassion, integrity, openness and honesty, and providing a non-judgemental space where anything and everything can be explored. She specialises in ancestral work, family trauma, abuse, illness, working with people who identify as ‘outcasts’, shadow work, secrets and taboos, and welcomes any issue you bring.
